Low Melt Fibres

Low melt fibres are specialized bicomponent fibres designed to bond materials together through heat, providing strength, stability, and improved performance without the need for chemical adhesives. These fibres feature a core–sheath structure, where the outer sheath melts at a low temperature while the inner core remains stable. When heated, the sheath softens and fuses with surrounding fibres, creating a strong and uniform bonding effect.

Low melt fibres are widely used in nonwoven production, automotive interiors, furniture padding, filtration materials, thermal insulation, and construction textiles. Their ability to create internal bonding makes them essential for producing lightweight, durable, and environmentally friendly products.
